Police service cuts in Basildon

Police services right across the county are feeling the strain of conservative cuts. I recently attended a meeting in Pitsea, discussing with force officals the nature of the cuts, and the implications for frontline services. At a time when Basildon residents are feeling insecure about their personal safety, we should be preserving officers, not making them redundant. Now, more than ever, it's important to continue fighting these cuts and ensure the safety of essex residents.
